Fire Contained To One Unit Of Panaroma City Apartment Building

PANORAMA CITY — Fire damaged a third-floor unit at a three-story apartment building Saturday in Panorama City.

The 46 firefighters dispatched at 10:34 a.m. to 8930 Van Nuys Blvd. had the fire out within 17 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

“The fire was in one unit on the third floor,” said Margaret Stewart of the LAFD. “Firefighters contained the blaze to the unit of origin with both adjacent apartments protected from damage.”

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
